# Feature availability by edition

Captivate ships in three editions: **Sport**, **Broadcast** and **Enterprise**. **Enterprise** includes everything the other editions do. A further edition, **Present**, is no longer sold but remains licensed and supported for existing customers; its column is kept here for their reference. Use this table to see whether a feature is included in your edition, and — where it isn’t — whether an **add-on pack** can unlock it or a higher edition carries it.

A ✓ means the feature is included. A number or **Unlimited** is a limit. A blank cell means the feature isn’t in that edition; the **Add-on / status** column then shows whether a pack unlocks it, or whether the feature is defined but not yet enabled in any edition.

**💡 TIP**

Features not in your edition may still appear in the Captivate UI; using them watermarks every output and triggers the unlicensed-features banner. See [Top-bar status indicators](/get-started/chapter-index-2/top-bar-status-meaning.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
An **add-on pack** attaches its feature to an existing license, so you can add a single capability (for example Media Sequences or the Video Switcher) without moving to a higher edition. Most packs in this table attach to Sport and Present licenses; where a pack covers a different set, its cell names them. Higher editions already include these features outright.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://captivatehelp.newbluelive.com/reference/entitlements-sku-matrix.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
